Finally Euro 2008 is going to kick off by the mid of June and it just going to host by both Austria-Switerland.. some of the team is going to play a superb knock, I expect Portugal and Italy in the finals .Italy got a new coach DonnaDoni but it’s ok they would do good with him. Christiano Ronaldo, villa, toni, Henry are going to show there best in the field. Portugal got well known Scolari as their coach so it must be pretty interesting to see the game of Portugal. So I am patiently waiting for the game to kick off, lets hope for the best games to happen.

automatic bag checker

Passengers can now cut waiting times and minimize human contact with the advent of the machine that is used to check their luggages thoroughly. This feature has now been implemented among the passengers departing from Amsterdam airport. They are asked to place their luggage into a large, white colored machine. After scanning their boarding pass and answering the usual security questions via a touch screen the intended machine weighs the placed luggage and prints out a label. This printed output is attached in the passenger’s suitcase. The luggage will be subjected to a similar security screening at each counter.

Lungs Help Alligators Move

The average Alligator is about 11 feet long and 1000 pounds And the alligator have a secret weapon when it comes to moving up, down, and around inside the water? A team of scientist discovered that alligator move their lungs to help them dive, surface, and roll. so how do these animals do this? Well, say scientist it’s a simple procedure. To dive , the animal squeezes its lungs towards its tail. This tips its head down as it prepares it to plunge. To come to the surface, the alligators move their lungs towards their head. And to roll? They use muscles to push their lungs side ways. The scientists also discovered that alligator use their breathing muscles for a second job : to shift their lungs around inside of their body!
Unlike Aquatic animals, alligators don’t have fins or flippers to help them move smoothly in the water. And yet they are able to move silently up to their prey. This is because the alligator uses its lungs for motion.

Success and Failure

Nobody succeeds all the time .In a World of progress and decision making, there are no Midas Touches . There is no such person as ‘she got it right all the time’. Everyone will have their moments , at least once in away, on the snake. Nobody is destined to remain a failure either. If there is initiative to roll the dice enough number of times, everyone will have their moments on the ladder too. Opportunities knock the doors of anyone who is willing to persist and persevere long enough. Success is failure delayed and failure is Success delayed. Failure is not final. You may go down the snake and then may roll a two to take a Bigger ladder and again make it to the top. Success is not permanent either. Beware, the next roll of the dice can lead to a snake.

Stem Cells Regain Youth

Stem cells in an old tissue are still able to perform regenerative functions, provided they receive appropriate chemical signals, according to a new study.Earlier studies have shown that when old tissue is placed in an environment of young blood, the stem cell behave as if they are young again.A team of bio-engineers at calrifornia university, led by Irina conboy, identified two key pathways that determine how well adults stem cells repair and replace damaged tissue. They then tweaked how those stem cells reacted to those biochemical signals to revive the ability of muscle tissue in old mice to repair themselves, nearly as well as the muscle in the mice’s much younger counterpart.

Facts About Spine

Our spine is also known as the vertrebral column-is a bones that are home to the spinal cord. The spine is not rigid,it is very flexible and the bones that makes it up are 26 irregular shaped ones that extend from the base of the skull to the back of the pelvis.our spine thus serves as the support for our body and a protection for our spinal cord.as a young baby we have 33 vertebrate but as a child and adult we end up with only 26.
So,what happens to 9 of the bones?well,of the nine, four fuse to make the tailbone and five fuse to make the back of the pelvis. In between each vertebra are cartilage discs which are elastic and much like rubber. It is these that provide cushioning.when you run, jump or walk. These discs account for around 25 percent of the length of the spine and allow it to remain flexible.the spinal column is held up straight by ligaments and trunk muscles.Housed inside the spine, the spinal cord is a complex set of nerves that provides a two way path for the Brain.it is 17 inches long and is constantly bathed in cerebrospinal fluid running from just below your last rib,it merges with the brain stem at the base of your skull.
And finally,Did you know that 97 percent of the other creatures that inhabit the Earth do not have a backbone.
